Dream of the Month (March 2012)
Dr. Holloway's Comments:
Striking Characteristics: Impossible assignments often reflect frustration with a sense of calling that is unspecified but powerful.
It sometimes feels like the Universe is playing a cruel game of keep-away. You get tapped on the shoulder, filled with hungry fire to leap into the next passion, but crucial information on the nature of your work or passion is not provided. All you get is the sense of urgency. Nobody knows why life works this way; it does seem inefficient and baffling.
The bias of the teacher suggests the dreamer may be unfair to herself around this issue. She is chided like a fool, made to feel childish yet too old, and collapses, returning to her place.
To create what comes next in life, she needs to firm up her backing and support her own theme. She must leave her assigned seat, ignore the naysayer, discover where she stored her strength and begin crafting the next chapter of her life. A hand-made life is often quite different from the life your friends create; inner permissions must allow for divergence and originality. The second half of life is prime territory, it is where the plot truly becomes interesting, rich, and fulfilling. Yet, it is the time when many of us feel we have missed the boat, or become entangled in mistakes. To claim our mission and free our boldest abilities, we do have to break a few rules and firm our resolve. Fall in love with this chapter of your life, and follow that passion. It will take you where you need to go.
