Dream of the Month (November 2013)
Dr. Holloway's Comments:
Keys sometimes represent concepts or perspectives that will grant us access to choices we that seem out of reach.
Dr. Holloway's Comments
Locks and keys are prominently featured in many dreams. At a simple level, sometimes you can glimpse the messaging of a dream by considering how the locks might represent questions, and the keys might represent answers.
The aunt might represent something from the past that used to be close, but has been forgotten or remote in recent years. Often the answer to our future lies in something we used to love or be connected with in the past. Because rings and circles often represent promises we made to ourselves and the completion of cycles – this dream hints that the way to get where you want to go is to start keeping promises to yourself.
The problems to which we already possess the answer are usually the most difficult to solve. We look everywhere for help, advise, resources, and seldom consider that the "key" is with us. This is more than some self-help metaphor; it is utterly real.
The bottom line implication is this: reach back in time to gifts and sense of self that you may have lost track of, use them to begin unlocking your life, and switching yourself on. It's not too late, in fact, it is very likely extraordinarily good timing!
